The Winter Solstice is a special day of turning, as we experience the shortest day of the year while anticipating the return of light into our world. This is the time of year to celebrate light in many of our religious traditions, the light of Christ, the light of lamps, the unity and creativity of each individual as together, we look towards a more hopeful world. Nature gently hands us over from one season to another as we quietly walk through the soft woods of the season, ending our time together with a campfire and team made from foraged plants we find along the way.
