Backpacking 101

Have you always wanted to try backpacking, to spend an overnight in the woods with everything you need on your back, but just not quite sure where to start? Come enjoy an informal afternoon as together we learn more about the beauty of backpacking in our PA forests. We will learn all about necessary equipment, meals, planning a trip, what to do about water, bathrooms and how to get a good night's sleep.  Come test out some equipment, ask questions and enjoy a hot beverage while we plan for big adventures!
