ROTHROCK ADVENTURE

Come join us on an adventure in the mountains of the Rothrock Forest in Central PA.  Known for it's deep forests and cool, winding streams, we will spend the first night at Penn Roosevelt State Park getting familiar with our equipment and getting to know each other as we enjoy time around the campfire.  The 2nd night we will be 'on the trail' next to Detwiller Run in a beautiful, rhododendron lined valley.   Deep Green Journey backpack trips are focused more on the experience of the forest then logging miles, so this is considered a 'beginner' backpack trip so we can slow down and notice the beauty all around us. All food and equipment is included.
